FORT WORTH CITY SECRETARY CONTRACT NO. 45996
MASTER SERVICES AGREEMENT—DEFERRED COMPENSATION
COMMITTEE CONSULTATION SERVICES
This FIRST RENEWAL TO FORT WORTH CITY SECRETARY CONTRACT
NO. 45996 ("Renewal") is made and entered into by and between the City of Fort Worth
(hereafter "City"), a home rule municipal corporation organized under the laws of the State of
Texas, acting by and through its duly authorized Assistant City Manager, and THE
RETIREMENT STORE ("Professional"), a Texas corporation acting by and through its duly
authorized President.
WHEREAS, City and Professional have previously entered into a Master Services
Agreement for Deferred Compensation Committee Consultation Services, the same being Fort
Worth City Secretary Contract No. 45996 ("Agreement"); and
WHEREAS, the Contract was amended on December 16, 2014 to change the Initial
Term under City of Fort Worth City Secretary Contract No. 45996-A1 (the "Amendment No.
I"); and
WHEREAS, the Initial Term of the Contract; as amended, expires on September 18,
2015; and
NOW, THEREFORE, City and Consultant, acting herein by and through their duly
authorized representatives, enter into the following agreement to renew the contract:
1.
The term of the Contract is hereby renewed to extend the term to expire September 18, 2016,
Renewal Term No. 1, unless terminated earlier in accordance with the Agreement. After this
first renewal, this Agreement may be renewed for up to three (3) additional one (1) year periods
(each a "Renewal Term") by mutual signed, written agreement of the parties. This Renewal
Term shall not require an increase of Consultant's Fee under the Contract.
2.
All other provisions of the Contract which are not expressly amended herein shall remain
in full force and effect.
