CONTRACT NO.
AMENDMENT No.2
TO CITY SECRETARY CONTRACT
WHEREAS, the City of Fort Worth (CITY) and URS
Corporation, An AECOM Company (ENGINEER) , made and entered
into City Secretary Contract No. 40109, (the CONTRACT) which
was authorized by M&C C-24155 on the 6th day of April, 2010 in
the amount of $963 , 641 . 91; and
WHEREAS, the CONTRACT was subsequently revised by
Amendment No. 1 in the amount of $140,838 .00 which was
authorized on April 7, 2015 (M&C C-27251) ; and
WHEREAS, the CONTRACT involves engineering services .for
the following project:
Design of Big Fossil Creek Parallel Relief Sanitary Sewer Main
402; and
WHEREAS, it has become necessary to execute Amendment
No.2 to the CONTRACT to redefine the project scope;
NOWTHEREFORE, CITY and ENGINEER, acting herein by and
through their duly authorized representatives, enter into the
following agreement, which amends the CONTRACT:
1 .
Article I of the CONTRACT is amended to include the
redefined scope of services in Attachment A dated November 19,
2015 a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated
herein. The cost to City for the revised services to be
performed by Engineer totals $0 .00
2 .
All other provisions of the Contract, which are not
expressly amended herein, shall remain in full force and
effect.

Redefined Scope of Services Amendment No. 2 to City Secretary 40109
Supplemental to Original Scope
A. Part 2.
Design of Big Fossil Creek Parallel Relief Sanitary Sewer Main 402 from the south right of way line of
the TRE Railroad on the south side of SH 121 to the terminus of the project between S.H. 26 and
Broadway Avenue, a distance of 9,666 linear feet, including 600 linear feet of force main of the
original scope of services, as revised by Amendment 1,for the project is hereby eliminated.
All pertinent references to work on, cost estimates for, or other task expectations related to Part 2
in the original scope are to be disregarded.
All work product previously prepared shall be submitted to the City within 30 days.
B. Parts 1 and 3.
Design of Big Fossil Creek Parallel Relief Sanitary Sewer Main 402, Part 1, from the existing sanitary
sewer 96-inch M-280"A" and 84-inch sanitary sewer M-338 "A" (West Fork Collectors)to the south
right of way line of the TRE Railroad on the south side of SH 121, a distance of 5,144 linear feet and
Part 3, from the existing Haltom City Carson Street outfall main to the existing Main M-402, of the
original scope of services, as revised by Amendment 1,for the project shall be brought to
completion by performance of the following:
1. Address all comments required by the Texas Water Development Board, to allow the plans to be
approved for advertising.
2. Upload the final plans and specifications into the City's Buzzsaw website.
3. Upload a pdf and an excel spreadsheet of the final construction cost estimates to allow for
electronic bidding.
4. Provide mylar drawings of the final plans.
5. Provide 10 unbound copies of the final specifications and contract documents.
6. Provide assistance during the bid phase.
7. Provide assistance during construction including shop drawing review.
8. Provide record drawings from the relines supplied by the City after construction of the project.

Contract Amendment 2
Dear Mr. Vargas:
It has become necessary to revise our contract for the above referenced project to reduce the scope of our
engagement. As we near completion of Phase 1 and 3, it appears that there is insufficient funding under the terms
of the contract, as amended, for your company to perform work related to Phase 2. The attached amendment to the
contract officially removes your company's obligation to perform any further work for Phase 2 design. Please
submit any and all work product related to Phase 2 to my attention.
The attached amendment and attachments outline the City's expectations for Phases 1, 2 and 3.
Please sign all four copies of the attached amendment, and return them to me within 7 days of the date of this
letter.
