AMENDMENT No. 3 CONTRACT WO. 4J U- 'A3
TO CITY SECRETARY CONTRACT
WHEREAS, the City of Fort Worth (CITY) and HDR Engineering, Inc. ,
(ENGINEER) made and entered into City Secretary Contract No. 46038, (the
CONTRACT) which was authorized by M&C C-26883 on the 22nd -day of July,
2014 in the amount of $915, 000 . 00, which was amendedt on ,September 25,
2015 adding additional scope valued at $187 , 700 and Amendment No. 2,
adding additional scope valued at $15, 000; and
WHEREAS, the original M&C authorized funding up to. .the . amount of
$1, 200, 000 . 00, from which Amendments No. 1 and No. 2 were funded and from
which this Amendment No. 3 will be funded; and
WHEREAS, the CONTRACT, as amended, involves professional services
for the following project :
Update to the Master Thoroughfare Plan; and
WHEREAS, it has become necessary to execute Amendment No . 3 to the
CONTRACT to include an increased scope of work and revised fee;
NOW THEREFORE, CITY and ENGINEER, acting herein by and through their
duly authorized representatives, enter into the following agreement,
which amends the CONTRACT :

Article I of the CONTRACT is amended to include the additional
engineering services specified on the attached scope of work, a copy of
which is attached hereto and incorporated herein. The cost to City for
the additional design services to be performed by Engineer totals
$82,300. 00.

Article II of the CONTRACT is amended to provide for an increase in
the fee to be paid to Engineer for all work and services performed under
the Contract, as amended, so that the total fee paid by the City for all
work and services shall be an amount of $1,200, 000. 00.
3 .
All other provisions of the Contract, which are not expressly
amended herein, shall remain in full force and effect .

ADDITIONAL TASKS
City of Fort Worth MTP Update
Task 8: On-Call Support
The CONSULTANT will provide on-call services to the City (on an as-needed basis) related to
implementation and administration of the 2016 Master Thoroughfare Plan and other
transportation planning needs. Activities may include, but are not limited to:
• Assistance with periodic model runs to update the MTP Lanes Map
• Interaction with the NCTCOG regarding travel-demand forecasting
• Integration of MTP tools (maps, spreadsheets, etc.)into City processes
• Demand and alignment analysis related to proposed MTS amendments
• General support related to MTP amends and waivers
• Participation in meetings with partner agencies (TxDOT, cou _,. , cities, etc.) or other
stakeholders regarding MTP issues and concerns
• Updates to the MTP "living document" as necessary to keep it current and accurate
Fee Structure
For all professional on-call services, the City agrees to pay the CONSULTANT on a
reimbursable basis not to exceed $82,300.00. The CONSULTANT is only responsible for those
professional services that can be completed within the maximum contract amount of
$82,300.00. CONSULTANT will bill the City on a time-and-materials basis for tasks approved
by the City according to the rate structure in effect at the time of services. The CONSULTANT
may revise the rate schedule on 0anuary 1of each year. HDR may only bill in excess of the
established rate ranges With prior written approval by the City.
