WHEREAS, the City of Fort Worth (City) and Dikita Engineering,
Inc. a Division of Dikita Enterprises of Texas, Inc. , (Engineer)
made and entered into City Secretary Contract No. 22568, (the
Contract) which was authorized by the City Council by M&C C-15917
on the 4th day of March 1997; and subsequently revised by two
previous amendments; and
WHEREAS, the Contract involves engineering services for the
following project:
Engineering contract for the design of Sanitary Sewer Mains
349 and 25 Drainage Area Rehabilitation and Sewer Improvements
(Group 3, Contract 6) , Part 2 .
WHEREAS, it has become necessary to execute Amendment No. 3 to
said Contract to include an increased scope of work and revised
maximum fee;
NOW THEREFORE, City and Engineer, acting herein by and through
their duly authorized representatives, enter into the following
agreement which amends the Contract:
1 .
Article I of the Contract is amended to include the additional
engineering services specified in a proposal letter dated August
21, 2000, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated
herein. The cost to City for the additional design services to be
performed by Engineer total $5,020 .00 .
2 .
Article II of the Contract is amended to provide for an
increase in the maximum fee to be paid to Engineer for all work and
services performed under the Contract, as amended, so that the
total fee paid by the City for all work and services shall not
exceed the sum of $165,549.35.

All other provisions of the Contract which are not expressly amended
herein shall remain in full force and effect.

Dear Mr. Domenech:
You have requested that Dikita Engineering, Inc. revise plans and contract documents for
that portion of the above referenced project that Dikita Engineering, Inc. originally
designed; for the purpose of creating a single project from said design. We have
researched the provided information and instructions per your request and have made an
evaluation of the additional engineering, drafting, contract revisions, and reproduction
services that will be required.
The additional work can be completed in a timely manner, as an addendum to our
existing contract, per City of Fort Worth, Main M-25, D.O.E. Nos. 1597, 1751, and 1752.
We propose an additional lump sum amount of $5,020.00 for the additional work.
Thereby increasing the contract fee from $160,529.35 to $165,549.35.
Should this meet with your approval, please provide any required documents for
execution, as an amendment to our contract and issue a written Notice to Proceed. We
appreciate this opportunity to provide services to the City of Fort Worth.
