HomeMy WebLinkAboutContract 26202 AMENDMENT NO. 3 STATE OF TEXAS S CITY SECRETARY CONTRACT NO.,Z62cV (No MSC Needed) COUNTY OF TARRANT 8 WHEREAS, the City of Fort Worth (City) and Wade 6 Associates, (Engineer) made and entered into City Secretary Contract No. 22266, (the Contract) which was authorized by the City Council by MSC 15708 on the 15th day of October 1996; and subsequently revised by two previous amendments; and WHEREAS, the Contract involves engineering services for the following project: Engineering contract for the design of Sanitary Sewer Main C1C4B Drainage Area Sanitary Sewer Evaluation Study and Improvements (Group 6, Contract 2) . WHEREAS, it has become necessary to execute Amendment No. 3 to said Contract to include an increased scope of work and revised maximum fee; NOW THEREFORE, City and Engineer, acting herein by and through their duly authorized representatives, enter into the following agreement which amends the Contract: 1 . Article I of the Contract is amended to include the additional engineering services specified in a proposal letter dated September 6, 2000, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein. The cost to City for the additional design services to be performed by Engineer total $9,218.84 . 2 . Article II of the Contract is amended to provide for an increase in the maximum fee to be paid to Engineer for all work and services performed under the Contract, as amended, so that the total fee paid by the City for all work and services shall not exceed the sum of $1 ,218,074.00. This amendment reflects a reduction in fee for services rendered on the preparation of project exhibits as outlined in the June 8`h amendment letter. Also included is the recovery of Part 12, Unit 3 printing costs and the design change for M-44 in the Part 11, Unit 2 project, resulting in the issuance of a new plan sheet and easement instrument. The project documents were complete and ready to print when we learned that the City had modified its M/WBE forms. We incorporated the changes and advertised the project. Therefore, we are requesting REVISED Contract Amendment No. 3 for the M-C1C413 Agreement in the amount of $ 9,218.84. This amendment would increase the total contract amount from $1,208,855.56 to $1,218,074.40. Please advise us immediately if there is a problem with this request.
