AMENDMENT TO CITY SECRETARY
CONTRACT NO. 25988
THIS contract is entered into by and between the City of Fort Worth ("City"), acting through Charles
Boswell, its duly authorized Assistant City Manager, and Tarrant County Samaritan Housing, Inc.
("Contractor"),by and through Steve Dutton,its duly authorized Executive Director.
WHEREAS, The City and Tarrant County Samaritan Housing, have entered into that certain agreement
identified as City Secretary Contract No. 25988 for the period beginning June 1, 2000 and ending May 31,
2001; and
WHEREAS,it is the mutual desire of the parties to amend said City Secretary Contract No. 25988.
NOW,THEREFORE,THIS CONTRACT FURTHER WITNESSEITH:
That Section 13(b),Insurance and Bonding of City Secretary Contract No. 25988 currently on file in the
office of the City Secretary is hereby amended to read as follows:
b. Contractor will maintain a blanket fidelity coverage in the form of an insurance bond in the
amount of $90,000.00,to insure against loss from the fraud,theft or dishonesty of any of
Contractor's officers, agents,trustees,directors or employees. The proceeds of such bond
be used to reimburse City for any and all loss of HOPWA monies occasioned by such
misconduct. To effectuate such reimbursement,such bond shall include a rider stating that
reimbursement for any loss or losses thereunder shall be made directly to City for the uses
and benefit of Contractor.
All other terms and conditions of City Secretary Contract No. 25988 shall remain in full face and effect.
