AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO AGREEMENT
STANDARD AGREEMENT FOR PROFESSIONAL SERVICES
WRMC Lighting Retrofit

WHEREAS, The City of Fort Worth and Summit Consultants, Inc. (Consultant) made
and entered into City Secretary Contract No. 47087 (The Contract) for Analysis and
Design for a lighting retrofit for the WRMC Coliseum, Burnett, Brown Lupton and John
Justin buildings and
WHEREAS, further amendment is necessary to reimburse the Consultant as part of the
design services agreement for additional design services for the WRMC Lighting
Retrofit.
NOW THEREFORE, City and Consultant, acting herein by and through their duly
authorized representatives, enter into the following agreement which amends the
Contract:

Article I — Scope of Services, Paragraph (3) shall be added to read as follows:
(3) Provide additional design services for the design and detailing of WRMC
Coliseum, Burnett, Brown Lupton and John Justin Lighting Retrofit Construction
Documents — Final Engineering. The cost of this additional service is $34,500.00
plus $0.00 in reimbursable expenses. The scope of services is described more
fully in Summit Consultants, Inc. Letter dated Jun 21, subject: "WRMC
Coliseum, Burnett, Brown Lupton and John Justin Lighting Retrofit Construction
Documents — Final Engineering"

Article I1 -- Compensation, first paragraph, is amended as follows:
"Consultant shall be compensated in accordance with the Fee Schedule shown
in Attachment "A". Payment shall be considered full compensation for all labor,
materials, supplies, and equipment necessary to complete the services
described in Attachment "A". However the total fee paid by the City shall not
exceed a total of $34,500.00 unless the City and the Consultant mutually agree
upon a fee amount for additional services and amend this Agreement
accordingly."

All other provisions of this Contract which are not expressly amended herein shall
remain in full force and effect.

Construction Documents Final Engineering
Mr. Horner:
Summit Consultants, Inc. (Surnrnit) is pleased to offer the following proposal for the
provision of consulting engineering services for the referenced project.
BASIC SERVICES:
Summit will provide construction documents (final engineering) for a lighting retrofit at
the WRMC Coliseum, Burnett, Brown Lupton and John Justin facilities. The intent of the
lighting retrofit is to provide fixture replacements that will improve lighting quality, reduce
energy costs, and improve maintainability. The scope of work will include:
• Prepare photometrics of existing lighting conditions
• Select recommended fixtures for replacement
• Calculate energy cost savings and provide return on investment(ROI) estimates
• Prepare photometrics of proposed lighting fixtures
• Review with WRMC and COFW personnel
• Prepare construction documents for bidding.
• Support COFW with the bid process and provide construction administration
Summit Consultants, Inc.will be paid the following stipulated sums
COMPENSATION FOR ENGINEERING SERVICES:
PHASE AMT. DUE
WRMC Coliseum, Burnett, Brown Lupton and John $34,500.00

If this proposal meets with your approval please issue a Purchase Order with standard
terms and conditions for the City of Fort Worth.
