AMENDMENT OF LEASE AGREEMENT
THE STATE OF TEXAS
KNOW ALL BY THESE PRESENTS
COUNTY OF TARRANT
THAT this Amendment of Lease Agreement is made and entered into between Tarrant
Regional Water District,a Water Control and Improvement District,acting herein by and
through its Real Property Manager ("Lessor")and the City of Fort Worth,a municipal
corporation,acting by and through its duly authorized representatives("Lessee").
WITNESSETH
1. Lessor and Lessee hereby confirm and ratify,except as modified below,all of the
terms,conditions and covenants in that certain Land Lease Agreement executed
September 8, 1999,with City Secretary Contract No.25215,for 2.5 acres of land,
situated in the E.Little Survey,Tarrant County,Texas;being a portion of a tract of
land conveyed to Tarrant County Water Control and Improvement District
Number One by deed recorded in Volume 2567,Page 573,Deed Records Tarrant
County,Texas.
2. Lessor and Lessee agree that effective September 1,2004,the Lease shall be
renewed for a term of five(5)years and shall expire on August 31,2009.
3. All other terms and conditions of the original Lease Agreement remain unchanged
and in full force and effect.

SUBJECT: Execution of Lease Agreement Extension for Lease of 2.50 Acres of Land Out of the E. Lit
Survey Located Adjacent to the Police Auto Pound
RECOMMENDATION:
It is recommended that the City Council:
1. Authorize a lease agreement with the Tarrant Regional Water District for 2.5 acres of land out of
the E. Little Survey, located adjacent to the Police Department Auto Pound, 1301 East Northside
Drive, at no cost for a five year term; and
2. Authorize the lease agreement to begin effective September 1, 2004 and expire on August 31, 20C
DISCUSSION:
The Engineering Department, Real Property Management Division, at the request of the Police Departi
negotiated a lease agreement extension with the Tarrant Regional Water District for 2.5 acres of land v
provides 60-65 additional parking and vehicle storage spaces for the Police Auto Pound.
The lease term will be for five years. No rent is due under the lease terms. The Police Department ha:
leased this space since September 1, 1999.
Police Auto Pond is located in COUNCIL DISTRICT 2.
FISCAL INFORMATION/CERTIFICATION:
The Finance Director certifies that this action will have no material effect on City funds.
