AMENDMENT TO CITY SECRETARY
CONTRACT NO. 29220
THIS contract amendment is entered into by and between the City of Fort Worth
("City "), a home-rule municipality in the State of Texas, acting through Charles
Boswell, its duly authorized Assistant City Manager, and Gershman, Brickner &
Bratton, Inc., a Maryland corporation, hereinafter called "Consultant or GBB," both
parties acting herein by and through their duly authorized representative.
WHEREAS, the City and GBB, have entered into that certain agreement identified as
City Secretary Contract No. 29220 for consulting services for the implementation and
evaluation for the new solid waste services approved by City Council through the
execution of City Secretary Contracts Numbers 28217, 28496, 28508 and 28358;
WHEREAS, City Secretary Contract No. 29220 expired on April 30, 2004;
WHEREAS,City Secretary Contract No. 29220 was amended to expire on August 31,
2004;
WHEREAS,the City is currently analyzing its Brush and Bulky Waste component of
its solid waste plan;
WHEREAS, there are approximately $9,600 in unused funds designated for this
contract and staff wishes to utilize GBB's consultation further; and
WHEREAS, it is the mutual desire of the parties to amend said City Secretary
Contract No. 29220 by extending the term of the agreement until February 29, 2005.
NOW, THEREFORE, THIS CONTRACT FURTHER WITNESSETH:
City Secretary Contract No. 29220, currently on file in the office of the City Secretary
of the City of Fort Worth, is hereby further amended to extend the term of the
agreement to February 29, 2005.

All other terms and conditions of City Secretary Contract No. 29220 remain in full
force and effect.
