FIRST AMENDMENT TO CONTRACT N0. L q
FORT WORTH CITY SECRETARY CONTRACT NO. 49290
This Amendment is made between the City of Fort Worth ("Fort Worth'), a municipal
corporation, acting herein by and through Fernando Costa, its duly authorized Assistant City
Manager and Kris Pierce ("the"Artist").
WHEREAS, Fort Worth and Artist entered into an Agreement identified as Fort Worth
City Secretary Contract No. 49290 ("Agreement") for final design of public art for the Fort
Worth Community Arts Center;
WHEREAS,the Agreement inadvertently did not identify an Effective Date; and
WHEREAS, it is the collective desire of both Fort Worth and Artist to amend the
Agreement to specify the Effective Date.
NOW THEREFORE,KNOWN ALL BY THESE PRESENT:
Fort Worth City Secretary Contract No. 49290 is hereby amended to reflect that the
Effective Date of the Agreement is July 7, 2017.
All other terms, provisions, conditions, covenants and recitals of said Agreement not
expressly amended herein shall remain in full force and effect.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereto have executed this Amendment in Fort Worth,
Tarrant County,Texas,this 20th day of July, 2017.
