AMENDMENT TO MANAGEMENT
AND LEASE AGREEMENT WITH
FORT WORTH COMMUNITY ARTS CENTER, INC.
WHEREAS, City of Fort Worth ("Lessor") and the Fort Worth Community Arts Center,
Inc. ("Lessee") previously entered into that certain Management and Lease Agreement
(City Secretary No. 32703) as approved by M&C C-21072 and Renewal of Management
and Lease Agreement (City Secretary No. 32703-R1);
WHEREAS, Lessor and Lessee wish to clarify the funding arrangement between the
parties.
AGREEMENT
In consideration of the mutual covenants, promises, and obligations contained
herein,the parties agree as follows:
The following-amendment shall be made to the Agreements:
a. Section 9.3. Funding. In consideration of Lessee providing the
services outlined in this lease agreement, Lessor shall pay Lessee a
total of $200,000 each year during the term of this lease in
accordance with a separate funding agreement under City
Secretary Contract Number 41034 and any subsequent renewals or
amendments under said contract The City shall also pay up to
$100,000 of the electricity costs subject to the annual appropriation
of funds by the Fort Worth City Council, as that amount may
increase a provided in Paragraph 6.1.
3. All other terms and conditions of the Agreements remain unchanged and in full
force and effect.
