CITY OF FORT WORTH
FIRST AMENDMENT OF CONTRACT
WHEREAS, the City of Fort Worth, ("CITY") and BEAN ELECTRICAL, INC
("CONTRACTOR") entered into a construction contract, City Secretary No. 47314, effective on
DECEMBER 8, 2015 ("CONTRACT"as defined in the General Conditions)which was authorized
by M&C C-27498 on SEPTEMBER 29,2015;and
WHEREAS,the CITY and CONTRACTOR desire to amend the CONTRACT to adjust the
contract time;
NOW,THEREFORE, it is agreed by the CITY and CONTRACTOR as follows:
Article I
Section 00 52 43—AGREEMENT to the CONTRACT is hereby amended by amending
Article 3.Contract Time, Section 3.1 Time is of the essence, as follows:
The Contract time period is one calendar year from the Effective Date or the
expiration of the dollar amount identified in Article 4, as it may be amended
from time to time by Change Order or otherwise, whichever occurs last ("Time
Period"). All time limits for Milestones, if any, and Final Acceptance as stated
in the Contract Documents are of the essence to this Contract. All work shall
be defined through task orders to be identified prior to the end of the Time
Period. Actual Work to be completed per this Agreement may extend beyond
the Time Period's end so long as the task order was issued prior to the
expiration of the Time Period.
Article H
There are no changes to any other provisions of the CONTRACT.
