TO CITY SECRETARY CONTRACT
WHEREAS, the City of Fort Worth (CITY) and Freese &
Nichols, Inc. , (ENGINEER) made and entered into City Secretary
Contract No. 48498, (the CONTRACT) which was authorized by M&C
C-28046 on the 13th day of December, 2016 in the amount of
$386,311 . 00; and
WHEREAS, the CONTRACT was subsequently revised by
Amendment No. 1 in the amount of $6, 963.00 which was
administratively authorized February 28, 2017 and Amendment No.
2 in the amount of $34,592 .00 which was authorized by M&C C-
28316 on August 1, 2017 ; and
WHEREAS, the CONTRACT involves engineering services for
the following project:
Northside IV 24-inch Water Main, along Bowman
Roberts Road from Santa Gertrudis Street to Haltom
Bailey Boswell Road.
WHEREAS, it has become necessary to execute Amendment
No.3 to the CONTRACT to include an increased scope of work and
revised fee.
NOW THEREFORE, CITY and ENGINEER, acting herein by and
through their duly authorized representatives, enter into the
following agreement, which amends the CONTRACT:

Article I of the CONTRACT is amended to include the
additional engineering services specified in a proposal dated
October 5, 2017 a copy of which is attached hereto and
incorporated herein. The cost to City for the additional design
services to be performed by Engineer totals $43,182 . 00 .
2 .
Article II of the CONTRACT is amended to provide for an
increase in the fee to be paid to Engineer for all work and
services performed under the Contract, as amended, so that the
total fee paid by the City for all work and services shall be
an amount of $471 ,048. 00

All other provisions of the Contract, which are not
expressly amended herein, shall remain in full force and
effect.

Dear Mr.Sauceda:
Freese and Nichols,Inc.(FNI)is providing this proposal for amendment of the Additional Construction
Services for the Northside IV 24-Inch Water Transmission Main,Project 6N4(City Project Number
100277).The additional scope includes the following tasks to support Resident Project Representation
on City Project Number 02302 for the Edgecliff Village WW Meter Station:
• Attend 1 Preconstruction Conference
• Up to 4 additional meeting with the City and Contractor
• Up to 60 additional site visits
• Up to 60 Daily Construction Reports
• Attend 1 mid-point construction CIA site visit
The fee for the additional services is for the not to exceed fee of$43,182.
