This AMENDMENT NO. 1 ("Agreement')is made and entered into by and between the CITY
OF FORT WORTH("Lessor"), a home rule municipal corporation under the State of Texas, acting by
and through Fernando Costa, its duly authorized Assistant City Manager, and CHECK-6
INTERNATIONAL, INC. ("Lessee"), a Delaware Corporation acting by and through JASON
MCALISTER, its duly authorized VP NEW VERTICAL DEVELOPMEN.
RECITALS
WHEREAS, On or about December 16, 2016, Lessor and Lessee entered into City Secretary
Contract ("CSC") No. 48475 ("Lease"), a month-to-month Office Lease for the lease and use of real
property (hereinafter referred to as "Premises") in the Administration Building ("Admin Building") at
Fort Worth Meacham International Airport("Airport").
WHEREAS, the Leased Premises included certain real property identified as Suite 310, Third
Floor, and consisting of approximately 3,800 square feet of office space;
WHEREAS,during the initial term of the Lease, Lessee agreed to pay Lessor as annual rent for
Suite 310 the sum of Sixty-Eight Thousand, Four Hundred Dollars and 00/100 ($68,400.00), which is
based on a rate of $18.00 per square foot, payable in equal monthly installments of Five Thousand,
Seven Hundred Dollars and 00/100 ($5,700.00); and
WHEREAS, Lessor and Lessee wish to update the square footage of the Leased Premises,
originally identified in CSC No. 48475, to reflect an increase in the square footage of the Leased
Premises.
AGREEMENT
NOW,THEREFORE,for good and valuable consideration,the receipt and adequacy of which are
hereby acknowledged, Lessor and Lessee hereby agree as follows:
1. Section 1. Property Leased is amended to read as follows:
Lessor demises and leases to Lessee the following real property (hereinafter referred to
as "Premises") in the Administration Building ("Admin Building") at Fort Worth
Meacham International Airport("Airport")in Fort Worth, Tarrant County, Texas: 4,616
square feet of office space identified as Suite 310, Third Floor, depicted in Exhibit
"A-1 Revised", attached hereto and hereby made part of this Lease for all purposes.
