1 Additional temporary fence was added to the project in order to construct the proposed fence in the existing alignment. Unforseen objects
prevented the proposed fence to be constructed within the proposed alignment.Also,the removal of several existing large concrete post
footings prevent the fence from being offset from the existing alignment as the removal process would interefere with the new fence.Additional
temporary fence quantity has also been added in anticipation of needing more to complete the project.
2.The installation of an extra photo beam in lieu of reconnecting the existing loop detector at Gate 16 based on preference of Tenants brought
up during construction.(See Proposal No. 1)
3. Installation of security equipment for gates 1, 16&25. This work was originally to be performed under a seperate contract. For coordination
purposes and Airport preference,it has be subcontracted out to the prime contractor of this project.(SeeProposal No.2)
4. Revision of gate widths for gates 2&16.These gate widths were originally smaller then the existing gates they are replacing.These items
are in addition to the existing gate pay items.(See Proposal No. 3)
5. Unforseen objects preveneted the proposed fence to be constructed within the proposed alignment in Zone E(the north end of the airport).
The objects were discovered after the alignement was approved by the Construction Observer and Engineer and the excavation for the fence
concrete erosion control strip was performed.This change order includes payment for work to back fill the excavated area.(See Proposal No.
4) 8.
Revision of gate widths for gates 5&26.These gate widths were originally smaller then the existing gates as the existing gate widths exceed
the largest gate the Ameristar Fence constructs.The Contractor proposed manufacturing the gates to match the widths of the existing gates
These items are in addition to the existing gate pay items.(See Proposal No.5) 7.The removal of
the exising gate 19,installation of a new operator,and installation of a new gate 19 has been removed from th project per the airport's
preference.
