ADDENDUM TO FORT WORTH
CITY SECRETARY CONTRACT NO. 50007
This ADDENDUM TO FORT WORTH CITY SECRETARY CONTRACT NO.
$1007_("Addendum") is executed under the auspices of the Fourth Renewal made and entered
into by and between the City of Fort Worth, a home-rule municipal corporation of the State of
Texas ("City"), acting herein by and through its duly authorized Assistant City Manager, and
_Dell Financial Services L.L.C., a Delaware L.L.0 ("Contractor"), acting by and through its duly
authorized Vice President.
WHEREAS, City and_Contractor_ are currently parties to a contract for a Tax Exempt
Lease Purchase agreement, the same being Fort Worth City Secretary Contract No. 50007 (the
"Agreement"); and
WHEREAS, recently effective changes in Texas law requires certain certifications be
included in all City agreements for goods or services; and
WHEREAS,the certification language was omitted from the Agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, in providing services under the Agreement, Contractor agrees as
follows:
PROHIBITION ON CONTRACTS WITH COMPANIES BOYCOTTING ISRAEL
_Contractor_ acknowledges that in accordance with Chapter 2270 of the Texas
Government Code,the City is prohibited from entering into a contract with a company for goods
or services unless the contract contains a written verification from the company that it: (1) does
not boycott Israel; and (2) will not boycott Israel during the term of the contract. The terms
"boycott Israel" and "company" shall have the meanings ascribed to those terms in Section
808.001 of the Texas Government Code. By signing this Addendum,_Contractor_ certifies that
_Contractor's signature provides written verification to the City that_Contractor and any
wholly owned subsidiary, majority-owned subsidiary, parent company, or affiliate of the
_Contractor_ (1) do not boycott Israel; and (2) will not boycott Israel during the term of the
Agreement.
PROHIBITION ON ENGAGING IN BUSINESS WITH CERTAIN COUNTRIES AND
TERRORIST ORGANIZATIONS
To the extent the Agreement constitutes a governmental contract within the meaning of
Section 2252.151 of the Texas Government Code, as amended, solely for purposes of compliance
with Chapter 2252 of the Texas Government Code, and except to the extent otherwise required by
applicable federal law, by signing this Addendum, _Contractor_ certifies that neither the
_Contractor_,nor any wholly owned subsidiary, majority-owned subsidiary,parent company or
affiliate of the_Contractor_ (i) engages in business with Iran, Sudan, or any foreign terrorist
organization as described in Chapters 806 or 807of the T a i-Government Codep,or Subchapter

F of Chapter 2252 of the Texas Government Code, or (ii) is a company listed by the Texas
Comptroller of Public Accounts under Sections 806.051, 807.051, or 2252.153 of the Texas
Government Code. The term "foreign terrorist organization" in this paragraph the meaning
assigned to such term in Section 2252.151 of the Texas Government Code.
