AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO
CITY SECRETARY CONTRACT NO. 50320
PROFESSIONAL SERVICES
This Amendment is entered into by and between the City of Fort Worth (hereafter
"City"), a Texas home rule municipal corporation, acting by and through Fernando Costa, its
duly authorized Assistant City Manager, and Matrix Consulting Group, LTD. (hereafter
"Vendor"), a California company, acting by and through Richard P. Brady, its duly authorized
President, each individually referred to as a"party" and collectively referred to as the "parties."
WHEREAS, the parties have previously entered into City of Fort Worth City Secretary
Contract No. 50320 (the "Contract"), which was executed on February 26, 2018; and shall expire
on February 20, 2019.
WHEREAS,the Contract is for the purpose of conducting a staffing workload analysis
and deployment study for the Police Department and Code Compliance Department; and
WHEREAS,the City and Vendor now wish to amend the Contract to provide additional
services pursuant to the original Contract; and
WHEREAS, the additional services shall include a comparative and functional
assessment of police oversight;
NOW, THEREFORE, City and Vendor acting herein by the through their duly
authorized representatives, enter into the following agreement to amend the contract:
1.
Exhibit B, Price Schedule. The Price Schedule under the Contract shall be amended to
include the tasks and pricing identified in Exhibit B-2.
2.
All other provisions of the Contract which are not expressly amended herein shall remain
in full force and effect.

24 hours at$120—outreach to other large agencies which have police oversight
8 hours at$120—development of a summary report on the research conducted
