REAS, the City of Fort Worth (CITY) and Halff Associates, Inc. ,
(ENGINEER) made and entered into City Secretary Contract No. 47621, (the
CONTRACT) which was authorized by M&C No. C-27632 on the 1St day of
March, 2016 in the amount of $ 225, 045 . 00; and
WHEREAS, the CONTRACT involves engineering services for the
following project:
Wilbarger Street and Miller Avenue Pedestrian, Signal and Lighting
Improvements; and
WHEREAS, it has become necessary to execute Amendment No. 1 to the
CONTRACT to include an increased scope of work and revised fee.
NOW THEREFORE, CITY and ENGINEER, acting herein by and through their
duly authorized representatives, enter into the following agreement,
which amends the CONTRACT:

Article I of the CONTRACT is amended to include the additional
engineering services specified in a proposal dated June 6, 2018, a copy
of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein. The cost to City
for the rebidding and additional construction phase services to be
performed by Engineer totals $50, 013. 00 . (See Attached Funding Breakdown
Sheet, Page -4-)

Article II of the CONTRACT is amended to provide for an increase in
the fee to be paid to Engineer for all work and services performed under
the Contract, as amended, so that the total fee paid by the City for all
work and services shall be an amount of $275, 058 . 00 .

All other provisions of the Contract, which are not expressly
amended herein, shall remain in full force and effect.

Engineering Amendment No. 1
Dear Ms. Smith:
Please accept this letter proposal for rebidding and construction administration services that are
necessary to complete construction of the above-reference project. The services will include
revising the contract documents, attending pre-bid conference and bid opening, tabulating bids,
attending pre-construction and public meetings,preparation of TxDOT Quality Assurance Program
(QAP) and following all other TxDOT related requirements for Local Government Projects,
reviewing submittals and change order requests, answering RFIs, preparation of record drawings,
and performing a final walk-through. To complete these services, Halff respectfully requests an
additional $50,013 be added to our time and materials with rate schedule project.
The original contract amount for this project was $225,045. With approval of Engineering
Amendment No. 1,the contract will increase to$275,058.
The original DBE fee for this project was $37,600 (16.7%). With approval of Engineering
Amendment No. 1, the DBE fee will remain $37,600 (13.7%). The DBE goal for this project is
12%.
