AMENDMENT No. 1 CONTRACT N0. 1 -

79 TO CITY SECRETARY CONTRACT
WHEREAS, the City of Fort Worth (CITY) and Teague Nall
and Perkins, Inc. , (ENGINEER) made and entered into City
Secretary Contract No. 48102, (the CONTRACT) which was
authorized by M&C C-27864 on the 9th day of August, 2016 in
the amount of $1,274,494 . 00; and
WHEREAS, the CONTRACT involves engineering services for
the following project:
Crowley Relief M-325 Sanitary Sewer Interceptor for Village
Creek Basin; and
WHEREAS, it has become necessary to execute Amendment
No. 1 to the CONTRACT to include an increased scope of work
and revised fee.
NOWTHEREFORE, CITY and ENGINEER, acting herein by and
through their duly authorized representatives, enter into the
following agreement, which amends the CONTRACT:

Article I of the CONTRACT is amended to include the
additional engineering services specified in a proposal dated
June 6, 2018 a copy of which is attached hereto and
incorporated herein. The cost to City for the additional
design services to be performed by Engineer total $12 ,375 . 00 .

Article II of the CONTRACT is amended to provide for an
increase in the fee to be paid to Engineer for all work and
services performed under the Contract, as amended, so that the
total fee paid by the City for all work and services shall be
an amount of $1,286,869. 00 .
3.
All other provisions of the Contract, which are not
expressly amended herein, shall remain in full force and
effect.

Dear Mr. Chaubey:
Teague Nall and Perkins, Inc. is submitting this fee Amendment for the above referenced contract
based on additional services required. The following is a brief description and cost for the
additional services to be provided on this project:
I. Easement Document Preparation
After easement documents were created for this project and before easements could be
acquired, a portion of a large tract of land was sold to another owner. This has required
several proposed easements to be split between the original property, Parcel 9 in the
attached exhibit, and the new property, Parcel 16. Listed below are the additional tasks that
are required outside of the original Contract scope due to the sub-division of the property.
1. New Easement Documents — an additional four (4) easement documents are
required for the easements located in the newly created Parcel 16. See easements
16-PE1, PE2, TCE1, and TCE2 on attached exhibit.
2. Revised Easement Documents—major revisions are required on five (5) of the
easements located within the original Parcel 9. See easements 9-PE1, PE2,TCE1,
TCE2, and TCE3 on attached exhibit. Minor revisions are required to one
easement located within the original Parcel 9, Easement 9-TCE4.
3. Property Survey— one day of field work and mapping will be required to tie the
new property comers for Parcels 9 and 16.
II. Deliverables:
1. The Engineer shall provide the following:
a. Four(4)signed and sealed sets of 8.5"x 11"easement documents(survey
exhibit and metes and bounds)for ten easements.
Ill. Fee Proposal for Contract Amendment No. 1: $ 12,375
TNP proposes a fixed fee of$12,375 to accomplish the scope of services described above.
1. Four new easement documents- $4,000.00
2a. Five revised easement documents- $ 5,000.00
2b. One easement document with minor revisions- $ 500.00
3. Additional property survey- $ 1,750.00
4. Additional Coordination and Sub Mark-up- $ 1,125.00

IHI. M/WBE Utilization:
TNP commits $11,250 of the work covered under this amendment to a certified SBE firm.
With this amendment, the overall M/SBE commitment will now be increased to 12.7%, above the
City's M/WBE goal of 10%.
