RENEWAL OF FORT WORTH
CITY SECRETARY CONTRACT NO. 50239
This RENEWAL OF FORT WORTH CITY SECRETARY CONTRACT NO. 50239
("Renewal") is made and entered into by and between the City of Fort Worth, a home-rule
municipal corporation of the State of Texas ("City"), acting herein by and through its duly
authorized Assistant City Manager, and McGuireWoods Consulting LLC, a Virgin Islands
limited liability company ("Consultant"). The City and Consultant are individually referred to as
a"party" and collectively referred to as the "parties."
WHEREAS, City and Consultant entered into a contract for consulting services, the
saine being Fort Worth City Secretary Contract No. 50239 (the "Agreement"); and
WHEREAS, the Agreement provides for an Initial Term of eight months with the option
to renew for up to two (2) additional periods of one year each; and
WHEREAS, the parties wish to renew and the Agreement for a first one-year renewal
period, commencing October 1, 2018.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City of Fort Worth and Consultant do mutually covenant and agree
as follows:
1.
City and Consultant hereby agree to renew and extend Fort Worth City Secretary
Contract 50239 for a renewal period of one (1) year, beginning on October 1, 2018, and
ending September 30, 2019.

2.
All terms and provisions of City Secretary Contract No. 50239 shall remain in full force
and effect throughout the first renewal period except as specifically amended herein.
