Beach and 820 Signals Attachments: Bea ch_ped_adjustments.pdf, Base-Station-90-degree-Extension.pdf Everything needs to be installed per plan at the 820 and Beach intersection except at the NW corner where we discussed with Kevin that the existing ped pole may remain in use as long as the new ped pole, P-7, is located a minimum of 10'from the existing ped pole(see attached). At the NE corner of Fossil Creek, you may extend the ped button toward the sidewalk, similar to the attached drawing. The primary points to remember when installing poles/buttons: • Must maintain minimum 10' separation between ped buttons • Must maintain maximum 10' distance between button and end of ramp(truncated domes) J.T.Auldridge, PE BGE, Inc. Subject: RE: N. Beach and 820 All—As a follow up to our field meeting on Tuesday morning, I spoke with the signal design engineer, and he offered the following comments: 1 • At the 820 intersection,we must install the ped poles as shown on the plans due to ADA requirements that ped buttons must be separated by 10'for each crossing • At the NE corner of Fossil Creek, he suggested to use an extension for the ped button to locate it closer to the sidewalk landing He and I will be onsite tomorrow, Friday, at 9 AM to walk the intersections and review ped/signal facilities. You're welcome to join us.
