SECOND RENEWAL OF CITY SECRETARY CONTRACT NUMBER 38500
A LICENSE AGREEMENT BETWEEN
THE CITY OF FORT WORTH AND MAYFEST,INC.
This SECOND RENEWAL OF CITY SECRETARY CONTRACT NUMBER 38500
("Second Renewal")is made and entered into by and between the CITY OF FORT WORTH,a home-
rule municipal corporation of the State of Texas ("City"), acting by and through its duly authorized
Assistant City Manager, and MAYFEST, INC., a Texas nonprofit organization("Licensee"), acting
by and through its duly authorized Executive Director.
WHEREAS,the City owns a tract of parkland known as Trinity Park,2401 University Drive,
Fort Worth,Texas 76107("Park");
WHEREAS, since 1973, the City and Licensee have been parties to a series of agreements
authorizing Licensee to use portions of the Park for an annual outdoor recreation event known as
Mayfest("Event"),with the current agreement being Fort Worth City Secretary Contract("CSC")No.
38500, as amended and renewed by CSC Nos. 38500-A1, 38500-A2, 38500-A3, and 38500-RI
("Agreement");
WHEREAS,the Agreement provides for two optional five-year renewal periods;
WHEREAS, the City and Licensee wish to continue in their relationship by exercising the
second and final renewal option,which shall begin on April 30,2019 and expire on April 29,2024;
NOW, THEREFORE,the City and Licensee agree to extend and renew the Agreement as
follows:

That City and Licensee hereby agree to renew and extend the Agreement for a second and final
renewal term of five years,commencing on April 30,2019 and terminating on April 29,2024("Second
Renewal Term").
II.
All terms in this Second Renewal that are capitalized but not defined shall have the meanings
assigned to them in the Agreement.
III.
All terms and conditions of the Agreement that are not expressly amended or referenced
pursuant to this Second Renewal shall remain in full force and effect during the Second Renewal Term
unless specifically amended in writing.
