AMENDMENT TO CONTRACT NO.
CITY SECRETARY CONTRACT NO. 32338
WHEREAS,on September 13,2005,the City of Fort Worth("City")and Fort Worth Area Habitat for
Humanity,Inc.("FWAHFH")made and entered into City Secretary Contract No.32338(the"Contract")as
authorized by M&C C-20722 adopted by the City Council on May 10, 2005;
WHEREAS,the Contract provided funding to FWAHAH pursuant to a grant received from the United
States Department of Housing and Urban Development("HUD")through the Community Development
Block Grant ("CDBG") Program No. B-05-MC-48-0010 for Year XXXI, Catalog of Federal Domestic
Assistance No. 14.218;
WHEREAS,the Contract provided FWAHAH with$13,287.00 in CDBG Funds to purchase in fill lots
in established City neighborhoods on which it will construct new homes to provide home ownership
opportunities to low income City citizens;
WHEREAS, the Contract expires by its terms on May 31, 2006 but a ninety (90) day extension is
necessary to complete lot purchases that are pending but will not be finalized before the end of the Contract
term;
WHEREAS,City of Fort Worth has agreed that it is to the mutual benefit of the Parties to agree to such
extension to meet the Program goals;
WHEREAS, FWAHFH has adopted Trinity Habitat for Humanity as an assumed name and may
undertake certain activities under the Contract in that name; and
WHEREAS,the City Council has authorized the City Manager to execute contracts in amounts less than
$25,000.00 without City Council action.
NOW THEREFORE,City,whose address is 1000 Throckmorton St.,Fort Worth Texas 76102,acting by
and through Dale A.Fisseler,its duly authorized Assistant City Manager,and Fort Worth Area Habitat For
Humanity,Inc.,DBA Trinity Habitat For Humanity("FWAHFH"),whose address is 3345 S.Jones St.,Fort
Worth Texas 76110,acting by and through Gage Yager, its duly authorized Executive Director,do hereby
agree as follows:
I.
1. Scope of Services
The second sentence of paragraph a. of this section is amended to be and read as follows:
"The term of the Contract shall begin June 1, 2005 and end August 31,2006."
I1.
The last sentence in Exhibit A—Program Summary, Description, is amended to be and read as
follows:

"The performance period will be from June 1, 2005 to August 31, 2006"
III.
Exhibit B - Program Activities and Schedule attached to the Contract is hereby replaced with the
Exhibit B—Program Activities and Schedule attached hereto.
IV.
All other terms and conditions of City Secretary Contract No. 32338 not amended herein remain
unaffected and in full force and effect,are binding upon the Parties,and are hereby ratified by the Parties.
