COUNTY OF TARRANT S
WHEREAS, the City of Fort Worth (City) and Multatech Engineering,
Inc., (Engineer) made and entered into City Secretary Contract No. 31233,
(the Contract) which was authorized by the City Council by M&C C-20825 on
the 28th day of June 2006; and
WHEREAS, the Contract involves engineering services for the
following project:
Engineering Design Services: Street Reconstruction, Water and Sewer Main
Replacements Portions of Wimbleton Way (Walton Ave to Wilkie Way) and
Wales Court (Waltham Ave to Wedgmont Circle South), 2004 CIP Contract
Year 2, Contract 20, Project No. 00164; DOE No. 4839
WHEREAS, it has become necessary to execute Amendment No. 1 to said
Contract to include an increased scope of work and revised maximum fee;
NOW THEREFORE, City and Engineer, acting herein by and through their
duly authorized representatives, enter into the following agreement which
amends the Contract:
1.
Article I of the Contract is amended to include the additional
engineering services specified in a proposal letter dated July 30,2006, a
copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein. The cost to
City for the additional design services to be performed by Engineer total
$7,215.00.

Wales Ct.
Mr. Sahu:
As you are aware, Multatech provided additional engineering services
outside the original scope of work for this project. This work included
the design of a 42" storm drain line in Wimbleton Way for a future
drainage project. This additional work comprised the following:
• Subcontract work from Slater Engineering for preliminary storm
drain design. (Invoice attached)
• Additional Engineering and CAD for the addition of Sheet SD-1
and revisions to 5 other sheets.
• Reproduction: 130 additional full-size sheets and 1 Mylar
The cost for these additional services is $7,215.00 and is detailed on
the attached spreadsheet. We request that you issue a change order to
our contract in this amount.
