Brumbaugh Unit #8: 131.51 Acre Pooled Unit

Dear Paul,
This is XTO's written request to pool a portion of lease (1) and all of lease (2) into the Brumbaugh #8 pooled unit
refei•enced above. The two City of Fort Woi�th leases ai•e described as follows:
➢ Lease (1): OGL dated effective April 28, 2005 covering 131.139 gross aci•es by & between the City of Fort
Woi�th and XTO Energy Inc; and
➢ Lease (2): OGL dated effective September 26, 2005 covering 6.116 gross acr•es between the City of Foi-th Worth
and XTO Enei•gy Inc.
In specific, we are pi•oposing to pool 6037 gross acres of lease (1) and 6.116 gross acres of lease (2) into tlie proposed
131.51 acre unit. This represents 45.90% of the gross acres covered by lease (1) and 100% of the gross acres covered by
lease (2) going into the proposed unit. In total, this would give the City of Fort Woi-th 66.416 gross lease acres in the
131.51 gross acre proposed unit. The City of Fort Worth acreage would then represent 50.55% of the gross acres in
the proposed unit.
The proposed 131.51 acre pooled unit plat is attached hereto as Exhibit "A". The City of Foi-t Worth tracts in the wiit
covered by lease (1) are shown in "yellow" and the tract covered by lease (2) is shown in "pink".
As projected, XTO is pooling 45.90% of the gross acreage of lease (1) into the proposed unit; however, our only viable
surface location is on the Brumbaugh lease and under the terms of this lease, XTO cannot add anymor•e tracts to this
proposed unit.
If this pi•ojected pooled unit is agreeable to The City of Fort Worth, please indicate your appi•oval by signing below.
