EXTENTION TO CITY SECRETARY
CONTRACT NO 29422
THIS EXTENTION to City Secretary Contract No. 29422, as arnended by M&C C-20245
(hereinafter `Bxtension") is entered into by and between the City of Fort Worth ("City"), a home-iule
municipality in the State of Texas, acting through Libby Watson, its duly zartharized Assistant City
Manager, and Centuiy Disposal, Inc., ("Contractor"), a�I E� (C. i? s� corporation
located in Tarrant County, Texas by and through �������i'«, /-/. (�,'%7 i r�j , its duly
authorized President/Vice-President.
WHEREAS, the City and Contractar entered into that certain agreement identified as City Secretary
Contract No. 29422, as amended by M&C G20245 (the "Contract") commencing on December 31,
2003 and ending December 3 l, 2006, with two three-year extensions for the collection and recycling
of mixed office paper fiom City facilities; and
WHEREAS, the City does not wish the extend the Contract for a tYuee year term but does wish to
amend such Contract to extend such services until June 30,2007 and since such period is within the
three year term it is allowable;
WHEREAS, the parties agree that all other conditions, terms and pricing shall remain the same as
stated in City Secretaiy Contract No. 29422; as amended by M&C C-20245.
NOW, THEREFORE; for and in coiisideration of tlie mutual covenants contained herein, and other
good and valuable corisideration, the receipt and sufficiency of which are hzreby acicnowledged and
confessed, the parties hereto agree as follows:
The Contract for the Collection and Reeycling of Mixed Office Paper from City Facilities lcnown as
City Secretary Contract No. 29422, as amended by M&C C-20245 shall be extended for the period of
January l, 2007 through June30,2007.
