AMENDMENT NUMBER 1
CITY SECRETARY CONTRACT NO. I
WHEREAS, the City of Fort Worth (CITY) and Teague Nall and Perkins,
Inc., (ENGINEER) made and entered into City Secretary Contract No. 34801,
(the CONTRACT) which was authorized by the City Council by M&C C-21918 on
the 9th day of January, 2007;
WHEREAS, the Contract involves engineering services for the following
project:
Keller-Hicks Road from Ridgeview Street to Park Vista Boulevard and
Beach Street from Golden Triangle Boulevard to Keller-Hicks Road;
WHEREAS, it has become necessary to execute Amendment No. 1 to said
Contract to include an increased scope of work and revised maximum fee;
NOW THEREFORE, CITY and ENGINEER, acting herein by and through their
duly authorized representatives, enter into the following agreement,
which amends the Contract:

Article I of the Contract is amended to include the additional
engineering services specified in the proposal letter dated June 7, 2007,
copies of which are attached hereto and incorporated herein. The cost to
City for the additional design services to be performed by Engineer total
$19,000.00.

Dear Mr. Weiss:
Teague Nall and Perkins, Inc. is submitting this fee Amendment to the above referenced contract
based on additional services requested. The following is a brief description and cost for the
additional services provided on this project:
Additional Services to provide right of way staking and construction staking for Unit 1: Keller
Hicks Road (750' west of Ridgeview thru Alta Vista Intersection)
As requested, the right of way along Keller Hicks (Phase 1) will be staked for the Utility
relocation phase of construction. In addition, construction staking for the road and utility
improvements will be provided. The scope for construction staking includes staking the
paving offsets twice and the utility (water, sanitary sewer, and drainage) offsets once during
the course of construction. Additional construction staking or restaking will be considered
additional services.
