AMENDMENT NO. 5
CITY SECRETARY CONTRACT NO. ��yLo` ��

WHEREAS, the City of Fort Worth (City) and Southwest Research Institute
(Engineer) made and entered into City Secretary Contract No. 28329, (the Contract)
which authorized by City Council by M&C C-19415 on January 14, 2003; and
WHEREAS, the Contract involves services for the development and creation of a
Master Plan for Traffic Management and Communication Devices; and
WHEREAS, the Contract has been amended by four previous amendments; and
WHEREAS, it has become necessary to execute Amendment No. 5 to said
Contract to extend the term of perFormance until the contract funds have been expended.
NOW THEREFORE, City and Engineer, acting herein by and through their duly
authorized representatives, enter into the following agreement, which amends the
Contract:
1.
Article 1 of Attachment "B", "Proposal and Contract for Services" is amended to be
and read:
Performance will begin at the earliest practicable date, but in no event later
than five (5) days after the effective date, and shall continue until the
expenditure of the $434,487.00 appropriated for Amendment No. 4, or until
December 31 �`, 2007, whichever comes first.
2.
All other provisions of the Contract, which are not expressly amended herein, shall
remain in full force and effect.
