COUNTY OF TARRANT §
WHEREAS, the City of Fort Worth ("City") and Kimley-Horn and Associates, Inc.
("Engineer") made and entered into City Secretary Contract No. 385830 (the "Contract") which
was executed by the City Manager on September 25, 2007;
WHEREAS, the Contract involves engineering services for the following project:
Traffic Signal Designs for Dirks Road Reconstruction
WHEREAS, it has become necessary to execute Amendment No. 2 to said Contract for
the engineering services for the Traffic Signal Designs for Dirks Road Reconstruction;
NOW THEREFORE, City and Engineer, acting herein by and through their duly authorized
representatives, enter into the following agreement that amends the Contract:
1.
Article I, of the Contract is amended to include performing the engineering services to add
Task 2.0 Street Light Design. This task will include the removal of a street light at Dirks Road and
Bryant Irvin Road and the installation of intersection safety lighting at Quail Ridge Road and Deer
Hollow Drive. Plan sheets and quantities will be prepared for this task and will be inserted into the
roadway plan set. In addition, the Engineer will attend one (1) project coordination meeting with

the City and the City's roadway design consultant. The cost to the City for additional services
performed by the Engineer is $4,700.
2.
Article II of the Contract is amended to provide for an increase in the lump sum fee to be
paid to Engineer for all work and services performed under the Contract, as amended, so that the
total fee paid by the City for all work and services shall not exceed the sum of $63,000.
3.
All other provisions of the Contract which are not expressly amended herein shall remain
in full force and effect.
