We have been requested to revise the rail elevations of all five courtrooms to a simpler, less intimidating and more cost effective design. This includes rails in all five courtrooms at the following locations: • spectator rail • jury box • witness • court clerk • bench • access ramps Danny Rogers, Chief Judge, has e-mailed thru Alfonso Meza six photos of courtrooms whose appearance he likes, along with examples of the medium brown color of the wood he desires. We have selected two prototypes illustrated in four of the photos for our re-design efforts. We will prepare two alternate designs, to be shown as elevations or perspectives of one courtroom, allowing the chief judge to make a final decision of which design he prefers for all five courtrooms. Once approval has been given, we will modify the design in all five courtrooms and associated details to follow this revised, accepted design. We will attempt to have these revisions completed within three weeks after City design acceptance. As we discussed services for this proposal will include necessary meetings to discuss the re- design of these interior elements. No other meetings, revisions or changes are included in this proposal. It is specifically understood and agreed that when a lump sum fee is quoted, the fee covers the performance of corresponding services only one time after authorization to proceed with the work. Once you or your associates have given approval of the selected design any additional revisions or additions to the approved plans would be an addition to this proposal and charged at our hourly rates. 3717$toncw Creek Road.
