WHEREAS, the City administratively executed Arnendment No. 3 on March '1, 2017 in the amount of
$5,570.00.
WHEREAS, The City adrrainistrratively executed Amendment No. 4 on October h, 2017 in the amount of
$20,800.00.
WHEREAS, The City administratively executed Amendrilent No. 5 on July 26, 7.018 in the amount of
$72,000.00
WHEREAS, The City executed Amendment No, 6 on September 11, 2018 by Council approval of M&C 0-
28847 in the amount of$27,500.00.
WHEREAS, The City administratively executed Amendment No. 7 on December 7, 2018 in the amount of
$51,850.00.
WHEREAS, further amendment is necessary to reimburse the Architect for professional services for the
project as part of tree design services agreement; and
NOW THEREFORE, City and Architect, acting herein by and through their duly authorized
representatives, enter into the following agreement which amends the Contract:
1.
Article 1.1, SECTION I — SERVICES OF THE ENGINEER, the following paragraph is added to read as
follows:
"Provide Construction Documents and Construction Administration Services as required for the
facility. The scope of services is described in the Elements of Architecture, Irac letter dated
January 28, 2019, Subject: Proposal for A/E Services Tactical Center -- Additional Services 06 =
Amendment No. 8, Additional CA Services Bid/Build — Kennels at Tactical, attached hereto as
Attachment "A" and mrrade a part of this Agreement This Amendment No. 8 increases The
Contract by $20,550.00 including up to $2,800.00 in reimbursable expenses.
2.
Paragraph 1 of SECTION V- COMPENSATION TO ARCHITECT, is amended as follows.
"The total compensation for all of the assignments to be performed by Architect as described in
CHARACTER AND EXTENT of ARCHTECT'S SERVICES hereof shall be a fee not to exceed of
$394,962.00."

SCOPE OF SERVICES
I. Submittal to IDIR as this project is standalone from the previous work at this facility
2. Address any modifications to the documents doling the bidding phase via addenda.
3. Review bids and evaluation of a max of 3 short list bidders.
4. 8 OAC during the construction phase Of the PfOjed(16 weeks construction)
5. 2 site visits for IVAEP added during consiruction.
6, 1 site visit for structural during construction.
7. Additional coordination and communication wiih the selected bidder that would not be,ie(AL)ired wilh JOC—
Exclusions and Qualifications to This Proposal:
I. Services requesied in addition to those specifically Outlined in this proposal will be identified and u fee proposal
provided will-i approval required before continuing with those services.
2 Any modifications after!he layouts are approved in the SD Phase will be considered additional services.
3. We have not included providing an update to the opinion of probable construction cost developed in the 5D Phow,
4. We have included TAS submittal with the assumption that permit SUIATIMOI Will be by City sluff,
5. No oilier areas of the focility will be impacted or upgraded within the scope of this project. We have assumed thcft

The following are the additional services included in this proposal:

COMPENSATION
The compensation far engineering services in this proposal is not to exceed (1,800.
(One Thousand Eight Hundred Dollars 00/100).
ACCEPTANCE
Along with this proposal, Torres Engineering Services, Inc.,. also agrees to the terms
established between the City of Fort Worth and Elements of Architecture, Inc. in the
contract document "Annual Architectural Agreement: Elements of Architecture, Inc."
executed with the City of Fort Worth October 9, 2006. Torres Engineering Services, Inc.
appreciates the opportunity to work with you on this project and looks forward to the
design and construction phases of this facility. Diligent efforts shall be made to
coordinate with other disciplines.
