STANDARD AGREEMENT FOR PROFESSIONAL SERVICES
SECOND ANIMAL CARE AND CONTROL FACILITY

COUNTY OF TARRANT
WHEREAS, The City of Fort Worth and Pierce Goodwin Alexander & Linville, Inc.,
(Consultant) made and entered into City Secretary Contract No. 50096 (The Contract)
which was authorized by the City Council by M&C C-28439, the 17th day of October,
2017, for a New Second Animal Care and Control Facility; and
WHEREAS, further amendment is necessary to reimburse the Consultant as part of the
design services agreement for additional design services for A Second Animal Care
and Control Facility in North Fort Worth.
NOW THEREFORE, City and Consultant, acting herein by and through their duly
authorized representatives, enter into the following agreement which amends the
Contract:

Article I — Scope of Services, Paragraph (3) shall be added to read as follows:
(3) Provide additional design services for the design and detailing of adding
Floodplain Easement, Gas Well Location and Basic Flood Study and deleting the
Community Facilities Agreement. The cost of this additional service is
$22,690.00 plus $250.00 in reimbursable expenses. The scope of services is
described more fully in PGAL (Jeff Bulla) Email dated July 26, 2018, 5:44 PM,
subject: "FWACC - Request for Additional Services". (Attachment
I O)

Article II — Compensation, first paragraph, is amended as follows:
"Consultant shall be compensated in accordance with the Fee Schedule shown
in Attachment "A". Payment shall be considered full compensation for all labor,
materials, supplies, and equipment necessary to complete the services
described in Attachment "A". However the total fee paid by the City shall not
exceed a total of $1,146,935.00 unless the City and the Consultant mutually
agree upon a fee amount for additional services and amend this Agreement
accordingly."

All other provisions of this Contract which are not expressly amended herein shall
remain in full force and effect.

Ronnie,
As discussed, we propose the following change in services to our Agreement:
1) We will provide the Floodplain Easement, Gas Well Location and Basic Flood Study as described
in the attached RLG Add Service #01 for the following compensation:
• Floodplain Easement: $3,500
• Gas Well Location: $500
• Basic Flood Study: $23,750
• PGAL Project Management: $1,440
Subtotal Add= $29,190
2)It is understood that the "Community Facilities Agreement" services included in our initial Agreement are no
longer required by the City. This will be deleted.
Subtotal Deduct=$6,500
The net additional compensation will be:
Total Net Increase=$22,690
Additional Reimbursable Expenses=$250
