RENEWAL OF CITY SECRETARY CONTRACT NO.33622
WHEREAS, on May 15, 2006, the City of Fort Worth ("City"), a home rule municipal
corporation situated in Tarrant, Denton, Parker and Wise Counties, Texas, acting by and through
its Assistant City Manager, entered into a Parking Lot Lease (the"Lease")with Kevin W. Vann,
J.C.D., D.D., Bishop of the Catholic Diocese of Fort Worth ("Landlord"), the same being City
Secretary Contract No. 33622 (the "Contract") as authorized by M&C C-21482 adopted by the
City Council on June 6, 2006;
WHEREAS, under the terms of the Contract the City leases certain Premises located on
Jennings Avenue, more particularly described in the Contract, for a parking lot to be utilized by
City employees;
WHEREAS, the initial Lease term was from June 1, 2006 through May 31, 2007 with
the right to renew for six additional one(1)year terms by mutual agreement of the parties;
WHEREAS, City and Landlord desire and agree to renew and extend the Lease for an
additional one(1)year term under the same terms and conditions.
NOW, THEREFORE, City and Landlord agree to renew and extend the lease as
follows:
1. Section 2. Term of Lease is hereby amended to be and read as follows by the
addition of the following language at the end of the paragraph:
(a) The first renewal term of this Contract shall be for a term of one (1) year,
beginning on June 1, 2007 and terminating on May 31, 2008.
2. All other terms and provisions of the original Contract between the City and
Landlord shall remain in full force and effect except as specifically amended herein.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereto have executed this Renewal of City
Secretary Cootract No. 3 62 in multiple originals in Fort Worth, Tarrant County, Texas, this
