SECOND AMENDMENT TO CITY SECRETARY
CONTRACT NO. 33535
THIS Second Amendment is entered into by and between the City %J Fort Worth
("City"), a home -rule municipality in the State of Texas, acting through Joe Paniagua,
its duly authorized Assistant City Manager, and The Harral Group, an agency doing
business in Texas ("Consultant"), by and through Harriet Harral, its duly authorized
principal.
WHEREAS, the City and Consultant have entered into that certain agreement
identified as City Secretary Contract No. 33535 for aterm of one year commencing on
May 16, 2006 for consulting services to evaluate the effectiveness of the City's
Smoking Ordinance and to facilitate the City's Smoking Task Force; and
WHEREAS, the City and Consultant entered into the First Amendment to the
agreement known as City Secretary Contract No. 35296 for the facilitation of four
public hearings;
WHEREAS, the City Council directed staff to conduct an additional public hearing on
July 10, 2007 at the Fort Worth Stockyards;
WHEREAS, the Consultant did facilitate such additional public hearing on July 10,
2007; and
WHEREAS, it is the mutual desire of the parties to amend said City Secretary
Contract No. 33535 and City Secretary Contract No. 352961or the expansion of the
Scope of Work and compensation for those duties, with all conditions, terms and
pricing remaining the same as stated in Contract No. 33535 and City Secretary
Contract No. 35296.
NOW, THEREFORE, THIS CONTRACT FURTHER WITNESSETH:
1. Section 1. Scope of Work and Exhibit A.

2. Section L. Compensation.
Section 2. Compensation shall be amended as follows:
The amount to be paid to Consultant for all services performed under this Second
Amendment shall not exceed one thousand dollars ($1,000) and shall include any and
alI expenses incurred by Consultant. Consultant shall submit request for payment
pursuant to the City's rules and regulations.
All other terms and conditions %J City Secretary ContractNo. 33535and 35296 remain
in full force and effect.
