AMENDMENT No.1
TO CITY SECRETARY CONTRACT No. 51125
WHEREAS, the City of Fort Worth (CITY) and Pape-Dawson Engineers,
Inc. , (ENGINEER) made and entered into City Secretary Contract No. 51125,
(the CONTRACT) which was administratively authorized on the 17th day of
August, 2018 in the amount of $ 40, 080 . 00; and
WHEREAS, the CONTRACT involves engineering services for the
following project :
Renovation/Repair of Existing Pump Station at Meadowbrook Golf
Course; and
WHEREAS, it has become necessary to execute Amendment No. 1 to the
CONTRACT to include an increased scope of work and revised fee .
NOW THEREFORE, CITY and ENGINEER, acting herein by and through their
duly authorized representatives, enter into the following agreement,
which amends the CONTRACT:

Article I of the CONTRACT is amended to include the additional
engineering services specified in a proposal dated May 22, 2019, a copy
of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein. The cost to City
for the additional design services to be performed by Engineer totals
$1, 000. 00. (See Attached Funding Breakdown Sheet, Page -3-)

Article II of the CONTRACT is amended to provide for an increase in
the fee to be paid to Engineer for all work and services performed under
the Contract, as amended, so that the total fee paid by the City for all
work and services shall be an amount of $41, 080. 00.

All other provisions of the Contract, which are not expressly
amended herein, shall remain in full force and effect .
EXECUTED and EFFECTIVE as of the date last written by a signatory,
below.

Additional Services Request#1
Dear Mr. Penn:
This Additional Services Request (ASR) is provided for consulting services beyond what was
included in the original contract for the above-referenced project. Scope and fee for the services
to be performed are specifically described below.
I. STRUCTURAL ANALYSIS OF PUMP STATION TASK 301
The original scope and fee for the Meadowbrook Pump Station did not include
structural design. A structural engineer was consulted to evaluate the existing structure
and provide a design for a new pump skid be placed on a self-supporting frame.
COMPENSATION
Pape-Dawson's compensation for the above services will be a lump sum fee of $1,000, bringing
the total for this project to $41,080. This budget figure does not include any direct expenses or
applicable sales tax on services. If this budget figure is exceeded, Pape-Dawson may request
modification of this Agreement.
If this request meets with your approval, please acknowledge such by signing this letter and
returning a copy to our office for our records. By doing so, the additional scope and budget
described herein become part of and subject to the requirements of the original Agreement between
your organization and Pape-Dawson. Receipt of the executed documents will also serve as our
authorization to proceed with the work.
