FIRST RENEWAL OF CITY SECRETARY CONTRACT NUMBER 35681
LICENSE AGREEMENT
WITH
FORT WORTH INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT
STATE OF TEXAS
COUNTY OF TARRANT
WHEREAS, the City Council of Fort Worth approved M&C C-22150, which
authorized execution of a license agreement with the Fort Worth Independent School
District for use of space at the Northside Community Center for education purposes; and
WHEREAS, on August 27, 2007, the City of Fort Worth, by and through its
Assistant City Manager, entered in to a license agreement with the Fort Worth
Independent School District, the same being City Secretary Contract Number 35681; and
WHEREAS, said Agreement allows the Fort Worth Independent School District
to use space at the Northside Community Center, located at 1100 NW 18th Street in the
City of Fort Worth, Texas to provide educational programs to area residents; and
WHEREAS, the primary Agreement term is from June 1, 2007 through May 31,
2008; and
WHEREAS, M&C C-22150 and the Agreement allow for two (2) successive
twelve -month -renewal terms; and
WHEREAS, the parties wish to renew and extend said Agreement fora twelve-
month -renewal term under the same terms and conditions;
NOW, THEREFORE, City and the Fort Worth Independent School District,
agree to renew and extend the Agreement as follows:
1. Section 3, "TERM OF LICENSE", is hereby amended to read as follows:
3.01. The renewal term of this Agreement shall be for a term of one (1) year,
beginning on the lst day of June 2008 and terminating on the 31St day of May
2009.
