FIRST AMENDMENT TO
FORT WORTH CITY SECRETARY CONTRACT NO. 51029-R1
This First Amendment to Fort Worth City Secretary Contract No. 51029-R1 ("First
Amendment") is made between the City of Fort Worth ("CITY"), a municipal corporation, acting
herein by and through Valerie Washington, its duly authorized Assistant City Manager and Audio
Visual Innovations, Inc (AVI-SPL), a corporation, ("SELLER") acting herein through Steve
Benjamin, its duly authorized Executive Vice President.
WHEREAS, CITY and SELLER entered into an Agreement identified as Fort Worth City
Secretary Contract No. 51029-R1 beginning February 1, 2019 (the "Agreement"); and
WHEREAS, CITY wishes to increase the dollar value of the Agreement in order to pay for
services listed in Section C of the Agreement but previously unavailable because of the dollar
value of the Agreement; and
NOW THEREFORE, KNOWN ALL BY THESE PRESENT, CITY and SELLER, acting
herein by the through their duly authorized representatives,enter into this First Amendment,which
amends the Agreement as follows:
1. The Agreement is hereby amended by adding the following section 13 to the
Addendum.
13. Compensation. City shall pay Seller in accordance with the fee
schedule of Seller personnel who perform services under this Agreement.
Total payment made under this Agreement for the first year by City shall be
in an amount up to Ninety Nine Thousand Dollars ($99,000.00). Seller
shall not perform any additional services or bill for expenses incurred for
City not specified by this Agreement unless City requests and approves in
writing the additional costs for such services. City shall not be liable for any
additional expenses of Seller not specified by this Agreement unless City
first approves such expenses in writing.
2. All other terms, provisions,conditions,covenants and recitals of the Agreement not
expressly amended herein shall remain in full force and effect.
