C��CIN SEC*M CONTRACT INSTRUCTOR AGREEMENT BETWEEN DANIEL TORRETTA
AND THE CITY OF FORT WORTH
THIS FIRST RENEWAL AND AMENDMENT("First Renewal and First Amendment")is made and
entered into by and between the CITY OF FORT WORTH("City"),a home-rule municipal corporation
of the State of Texas, acting by and through its duly authorized representative, and DANIEL
TORRETTA,an individual("Instructor").
WHEREAS, City and Instructor are parties to an agreement, PARD Contract No. 291, that
permits Instructor to provide certain classes, workshops, seminars, or activities at various community
centers owned and operated by the City("Agreement"); and
WHEREAS,the Agreement provides that the term may be renewed for five(5)additional one-
year periods;
WHEREAS,the parties wish to continue their relationship by exercising the first renewal
option;
WHEREAS,the parties wish to renew the Agreement to expire September 30,2020;and
WHEREAS,the parties wish to amend the Agreement's filing number,which is used for
reference purposes only and shall not be deemed a part of this Agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual covenants and agreements contained
herein, the City and the Instructor do mutually covenant and agree to renew and extend Agreement as
follows:
I. RENEWAL
The City and Daniel Torretta hereby agree to renew and extend the Agreement for a one-year
period,effective beginning October 1,2019 and expiring September 30,2020 (Term). This shall be the
first of five(5)one-year renewal periods.
II.
(1) All terms and conditions of the Agreement that are not expressly amended pursuant to
this First Renewal and First Amendment shall remain in full force and effect.
(2) All terms in this First Renewal and First Amendment that are capitalized but not defined
shall have the meanings assigned to them in the Agreement.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF,the parties hereto have executed this First Renewal and First
Amendment in multiples in Tarrant County,Texas.
