Subject: Supplement to October 24, 2018 NOE re: Proposed Quiet Zone: Union Pacific
Railroad (UPRR) Handley Street Group, Fort Worth, TX. Notice for Establishment
of a Railroad Quiet Zone under 49 CFR 222.39 and 49 CFR 222.59 and under
Appendix A and E to Part 222.
This letter is to update that certain Notice of Establishment (NOE) for the creation of a quiet zone, and its
attachments (City Secretary Contract No. 51430), issued by the City of Fort Worth on October 24, 2018.
Due to construction of required facilities taking longer than anticipated, which are now complete, the
effective date of the quiet zone is hereby updated as follows:
EFFECTIVE DATE OF QUIET ZONE-222.43(d)(1)(i)
Routine use of the locomotive horn at the crossings listed below shall cease effective November 22,
2019.
There are no other changes to the original notice.
