4PROFESSIONAL CONSULTING SERVICES AGREEMENT BETWEEN
THE CITY OF FORT WORTH AND SHANNON R. CHERRY

THIS FIRST RENEWAL OF CITY SECRETARY CONTRACT NUMBER 51471
("First Renewal'), is made and entered into by and between the City of Fort Worth, a home-rule
municipal corporation of the State of Texas ("City"), acting by and through its duly authorized
Assistant City Manager, and Shannon R.Cherry, an individual("Contractor").
WHEREAS, City and Contractor entered into a Professional Consulting Services
Agreement for Contractor to assist City with developing,revising, and drafting updates to the Park
& Recreation Department's policies and procedures manual, City Secretary Contract Number
51471 ("Agreement"); and
WHEREAS, the Agreement provides for a one year term with two (2) optional one-year
renewal periods; and
WHEREAS, the City and Contractor desire to exercise the first one-year renewal term;
NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual covenants and agreements
contained herein,the City and the Contractor do mutually covenant and agree to renew and extend
the Agreement as follows:
I.
The City and Contractor agree to renew and extend the Agreement for a one-year period,
effective beginning on September 4, 2019 and expiring on September 3, 2020.
II.
a. All terms and conditions of the Agreement that are not expressly amended pursuant to
this First Renewal shall remain in full force and effect.
b. All terms in this First Renewal that are capitalized but not defined shall have the
meanings assigned to them in the Agreement. OFFICIAL RECORD

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties have executed is First Renewal to be effective
