FIRST AMENDMENT TO
FORT WORTH CITY SECRETARY CONTRACT NO. 21467 AND
ARLINGTON CITY SECRETARY CONTRACT NO. 95-724
This Amendment is made between the City of Fort Worth("FORT WORTH"), a municipal
corporation, acting herein by and through Charles W. Daniels, its duly authorized Assistant City
Manager and the City of Arlington ("ARLINGTON"), acting herein through Theron Bowman,
its duly authorized deputy city manager.
WHEREAS, FORT WORTH and ARLINGTON entered into an Interlocal Contract
identified as Fort Worth City Secretary Contract No. 21467 and Arlington City Secretary
Contract No. 95-724 for a period of one year beginning December 1, 1995, which automatically
renews from year to year unless terminated in accordance with the contract; and
WHEREAS, it is the collective desire of both FORT WORTH and ARLINGTON to
amend the Interlocal Contract to add a provision that requires sharing of operating procedures
between FORT WORTH and ARLINGTON.
NOW THEREFORE, KNOWN ALL BY THESE PRESENT:
Fort Worth City Secretary Contract No. 21467 and Arlington City Secretary Contract No. 95-724
is hereby amended by:
1. Inserting Section XXIII to read as follows:
FORT WORTH and ARLINGTON will each draft operating procedures relating to the
implementation of this Interlocal Contract and provide a copy of such policy to the other
party. The parties agree to provide written copies of any changes or updates of the
policies to the other party in a prompt manner. The parties agree to work collectively to
ensure the efficiency of operations provided under this Interlocal Contract including
regular scheduling of joint exercises.

M All other terms, provisions, conditions, covenants and recitals of said Interlocal Contract not
m expressly amended herein shall remain in full force and effect.
