COUNTY OF TARRANT §
WHEREAS, the City of Fort Worth (City) and Teague, Nall and Perkins,
(Engineer) made and entered into City Secretary Contract No. 34092 (the
Contract) which was authorized by the City Council by M&C C-21722 on
the 26th day of September, 2006; and
WHEREAS, the Contract involves engineering services for the following
project:
South Pipeline Road at Post Oak Channel Bridge Replacement
Capital Project No. 00258; DOE NO. 5406
WHEREAS, it has become necessary to execute Amendment No. 1 to
said Contract to include an increased scope of work and revised maximum
fee;
NOW THEREFORE, City and Engineer, acting herein by and through
their duly-authorized representatives, enter into the following agreement
which amends the Contract:
1.
Article I of the Contract is amended to include the additional
engineering services as specified in a proposal letter dated February 5th,
2008, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein. The cost
to City for the additional services to be performed by Engineer total $6,750.
2.
Article II of the Contract is amended to provide for an increase in the
maximum fee to be paid to Engineer for all work and services performed
under the Contract, as amended, so that the total fee paid by the City for all
work and services shall not exceed the sum of $ 92,721 + $ 6,750
(Amendment No. 1) _ $ 99,471.

All other provisions of the Contract, which are not expressly amended herein,
shall remain in full force and effect.

Dear Mr. Bergeron:
Teague Nall and Perkins, Inc. is submitting this fee Amendment to the above referenced contract
based on additional services requested. The following is a brief description and cost for the
additional services provided on this project:
Additional Services to prepare ROW Acquisition Documents
In order to provide a culvert crossing that will provide for increased capacity and channel
modifications, one (1) drainage easement is required on the discharge side of the culvert.
Paving modifications require three (3) right-of-way parcels along the south limits of the
project as well as one (1) embankment easement on the north side of the project. are
required in the vicinity of the culvert crossing. The following fees include applicable field
survey, preparation of metes and bounds,exhibits,and setting iron rods at property corners.
