016 8 L°� This AMENDMENT No. 1 to Fort Worth City Secretary Contract No. 50875
("Amendment") is made and entered into by and between the City of Fort Worth, a home-rule
municipal corporation of the State of Texas("City"),acting herein by and through Jesus J. Chapa,
its duly authorized Assistant City Manager, and Texas Health Resources, a Texas non-profit
organization ("Consultant"), acting herein by and through DrPH Catherine Oliveros, its duly
authorized Vice President of Community Health Improvement. City and Consultant are
individually referred to as a"party"and collectively referred to as the"patties".
WHEREAS, City and Consultant are currently parties to an agreement for Consultant to
provide sexual assault examination services for City,.the same being Fort Worth City Secretary

WHEREAS, the Agreement provides for a 1-year initial term with one optional, one-year
renewal term at the City's discretion;
WHEREAS, the parties are currently within the one and only Renewal Term under the
Agreement; and
WHEREAS, the parties now wish to amend'the' Agre ent to increase the maximum
amount to be expended under the contract,to a pot to excee $100,000.00.
NOW THEREFORE,known by all these'Present,BRA Wordi"0nd Consultant,acting herein
by the through their duly authorized representatives, agree tit theifo_flowing terms, which amend
the Agreement as follows:
1.
The Agreement is hereby amended by deleting Section 3, "Compensation," of the
Agreement in its entirety and replacing it with the following:
3. Compensation.
City shall pay Consultant an amount not to exceed One hundred Thousand
Dollars($100,000.00)per year in accordance with the provisions of this Agreement
and the Payment Schedule attached as Exhibit "B". Consultant shall not perform
any additional services or bill for expenses incurred for City not specified by this
Agreement unless City requests and approves in writing the additional costs for
such services. City shall not be liable for any additional expenses of Consultant not
specified by this Agreement unless City first approves such expenses in writing.

Except as expressly modified in this Amendment, all other terms and conditions of the
Agreement shall remain in full force and effect.
Executed effective as of the date signed by the Assistant City Manager below.
