Our records indicate this would be the fourth of four possible renewals. Chemtrade continues to absorb increases on the Liquid Ferric Sulfate we manufacture and deliver to the Village Creek Water Reclamation Facility,which are related to vendor increases on inbound Sulfuric Acid and Iron Ore used in our manufacturing process.We expect to be further impacted by the IMO 2020 regulation that will enforce a sulphur cap on the fuel of marine vehicles. Ocean carriers will be forced to use more expensive and cleaner fuel or install expensive scrubbers to prevent pollution and therefore, increase their operating costs. Chemtrade would appreciate the consideration of an extension of the current bid for an additional term with a price increase of$10.36/Liquid Ton to offset our cost increases.The current price is$152.52/Liquid Ton, and the new requested price would be$162.88/Liquid Ton, for the extension period.
