MARSHALL PUBLIC SAFETY & MUNICIPAL COURTS BUILDING First Floor Remodel & Accessibility Ramp STATE OF TEXAS CITY SECRETARY CONTRACT NO. qa -Aa COUNTY OF TARRANT WHEREAS, The City of Fort Worth and Arthur Weinman Architect (Consultant) made and entered into City Secretary Contract No. 46924 (The Contract) which was authorized administratively, the 13th day of August, 2015, for first floor remodel, including an addition of an accessible ramp entrance, in the existing A.D. Marshall Public Safety & Municipal Courts Building; and WHEREAS, further amendment is necessary to reimburse the Consultant as part of the design services agreement for additional design services to modify the structural construction documents due to unforeseen site location of an existing electrical service conduit. NOW THEREFORE, City and Consultant, acting herein by and through their duly authorized representatives, enter into the following agreement which amends the Contract: 1. Article I — Scope of Services, Paragraph (3) shall be added to read as follows. (3) Provide additional design services and detailing of existing Construction Documents to modify the structural drawings of the exterior accessible ramp including additional site inspection of structural components. The cost of this additional service is $4,871.25 with no additional reimbursable expenses. The scope of services is described more fully in Arthur Weinman, Architect Letter dated July 29, 2019, subject: "Municipal Courts Building, Fort Worth, Texas, AWA Project# 17-009". 2. Article II — Compensation, first paragraph, is amended as follows: "Consultant shall be compensated in accordance with the Fee Schedule shown in Attachment "B". Payment shall be considered full compensation for all labor, materials, supplies, and equipment necessary to complete the services described in Attachment "B". However the total fee paid by the City shall not exceed a total of $42,568.25 unless the City and the Consultant mutually agree upon a fee amount for additional services and amend this Agreement accordingly." 3. Neal &Assoc, Structural Engineer, for Remodel of the Public Safety and Municipal Court Building at 1000 Throckmorton Street, Fort Worth, Texas. These services have included the following additional site visits beyond those covered in the contact.: New ramp and landing Miscellaneous structural issues Please see attached Breakdown sheet from Neal &Associates. The value of this proposal is based on a flat fee for services as itemized above: Structural Engineer $ 4,871.25 Time will be billed on a monthly basis or at the completion of the drawings. Payment of all invoices will be due upon receipt of invoice. Payment not received within thirty days of invoice date shall bear interest at the rate prevailing at the principal place of business of the Architect.
