FOR ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN SERVICES

COUNTY OF TARRANT
WHEREAS, The City of Fort Worth and GRW Engineers, Inc. (Architect) made and entered into City
Secretary Contract No. 35474 (The,Contract) which was authorized by the City Council by M&C C-22190,
the 19th day of June, 2007; and
WHEREAS, further amendment is necessary to reimburse the Architect's Structural Engineer Consultant
for additional design services relative to the design of the structural slab alternate at the new Police Air
Support Helicopter Facility; and
NOW THEREFORE, City and Architect, acting herein by and through their duly authorized
representatives, enter into the following agreement which amends the Contract:
1.
Article 1.1, SECTION I—SERVICES OF THE ARCHITECT, a new paragraph is added to read as follows:
"Provide additional structural engineer design services to the design of the structural slab
alternate for the new Police Air Support Helicopter Facility at Meacham Airport. The cost of this
additional service is $1,120.00. The scope of services is described more fully in the GRW
Engineers, Inc.'s letter dated August 25, 2009, subject: Additional Services for Structural Slab
Alternate Police Helicopter Facility, Project No. 03480-02 which is attached hereto as Attachment
°A"and made a part of this Agreement."

Paragraph 1 of SECTION V- COMPENSATION TO ARCHITECT, is amended as follows:
"The total compensation for all of the assignments to be performed by Architect as described in
CHARACTER of ARCHITECT'S SERVICES (Section III hereof) shall be $130,205.00, hereinafter
referred to as the"total fee", plus up to$3,200.00 in reimbursable expenses."

All other provisions of this Contract which are not expressly amended herein shall remain in full force and
effect.

RE: Additional Services for Structural Slab Alternate
Police Helicopter Facility
Alfonso,
The decision to prepare an alternate for a structural slab for the Police Helicopter Maintenance
Facility required the structural engineer to design two foundations for the building.
Accordingly our contract with Callahan Engineering did not include this service and it was done at
an hourly rate agreed on for additional services when we signed the contract with them.
Therefore we are requesting an amendment to our contract in the amount of$1,120.00 for
additional services relating to the design of the structural slab.
Please see the attached invoice from Callahan Engineering for their additional services.
