COUNTY OF TARRANT §
WHEREAS, the City of Fort Worth (City) and TCB, Inc., formerly known
as Turner, Collie & Braden, Inc., (Engineer) made and entered into City
Secretary Contract No. 31144 (the Contract) which was authorized by the
City Council by M&C C-20450; and
WHEREAS, the Contract involves engineering services for the following
project:
Morningside Neighborhood Drainage Improvements
WHEREAS, it has become necessary to execute Amendment No. 2 to
said Contract to include an increased scope of work and revised maximum
fee;
NOW THEREFORE, City and Engineer, acting herein by and through
their duly authorized representatives, enter into the following agreement
which amends the Contract:
1.
Article I of the Contract is amended to include the additional
engineering services specified in a proposal letter dated April 10, 2007, a
copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein. The cost to City
for the additional services to be performed by Engineer total $4,070.00.
2.
Article II of the Contract is amended to provide for an increase in the
maximum fee to be paid to Engineer for all work and services performed
under the Contract, as amended, so that the total fee paid by the City for all
work and services shall not exceed the sum of $117,888.00.
3.
All other provisions of the Contract, which are not expressly tj"'
herein, shall remain in full force and effect.

Morningside Neighborhood Drainage Improvements

Dear Mr. Argomaniz:
As requested by the City, TCB is providing this supplemental authorization request No. 2 for
professional surveying services required in order for the City of Fort Worth to purchase the entire
Mount Gilead Baptist Church Property located at 3000 Mississippi Avenue. Below is a summary of
services to be provided under this request :
1. Provide deed/ownership research of the Mt. Gilead Baptist Church tract and all
adjoining tracts.
2. Locate or set all property corners on the Mt. Gilead Baptist Church tract. Tie adjoining
property corners to ensure that the tract is properly located. The survey shall meet the
Texas Board of Professional Surveyors Minimum Standards.
3. Provide five (5)copies of the boundary survey originally signed and sealed by a
Registered Professional Land Surveyor on a 24" x 36" sheet.
TCB proposes to utilize Gorrondona &Associates, Inc.(GAI)for the boundary survey work, consisting
of items 1 through 3 above, to be performed for a lump sum fee of$3,700, as shown in the breakdown
below:
GAI Proposal - $3,700
10% Markup - 370
Total - $4,070

Morningside Neighborhood Drainage Improvements Project

Dear Mr. Zohne:
Gorrondona & Associates, Inc. (GAI) is pleased to submit this proposal for professional
land surveying services for the above referenced project. The following itemized
surveying services are to be provided by Gorrondona& Assoc., Inc.:
Boundary Survey

(2.) Locate or set all property corners on the Mt. Gilead Baptist Church tract. Tie

(3.) Deliverables shall include (5) copies of the boundary survey originally signed and
sealed by a Registered Professional Land Surveyor on a 24" x 36" sheet.
Gorrondona & Associates, Inc. can provide the above professional land surveying
