outside the city limits of Fort Worth, pursuant to City Code Section 35-60.

understand that the provision of water by the City of Fort Worth shall be made in strict compliance with
Chapter 35 of the Fort Worth City Code (1986), as amended, specifically but not limited to the following
Sections:
1. City Code Section 35-60"Uses Outside City"as applicable; and
2. City Code Section 35-20"Provisions Incorporated into Consumer Contracts".
"All of the provisions of this Chapter [35] shall be deemed to be incorporated in every contract
between the city and its water or sanitary sewerage service customers, and each customer or
consumer shall be charged with knowledge of the provisions of this chapter and, by applying for
and accepting water or sanitary sewerage service from the city, to have assented to the
provisions of this chapter." This shall include any and all ordinances adopted and amending
Chapter 35 such as ARTICLE VI. LAWN AND LANDSCAPE IRRIGATION CONSERVATION.

Authorize the Provision of Water Service at 1.25 Times the Retail Rate to Dr. Harminder Dhaliwal to
Serve His. Pediatric Center at 11751 Alta Vista Road, in Tarrant County, Outside of the Fort Worth
City Limits Pursuant to City Code Section 35-60B "Uses Outside City"
RECOMMENDATION:
It is recommended that the City Council:
1. Authorize the Water Department to provide water service at 1.25 times the retail rate to Dr. Harminder
Dhaliwal to serve his pediatric center at 11751 Alta Vista Road, located in Tarrant County, outside of the
Fort Worth City limits; and
2. Authorize the City Manager to execute an agreement for such services.
DISCUSSION:
Dr. Harminder Dhaliwal has submitted a request to receive water services from the City of Fort Worth for a
pediatric center located at 11751 Alta Vista Road.
The legal description of the property is Lot 1, Block A, Tree House Family Addition, located in the
extraterritorial jurisdiction of Tarrant County (see attached map). This property is located inside the Fort
Worth Certificate of Convenience and Necessity (CCN).
Dr. Harminder Dhaliwal has agreed to pay all fees and charges associated with the connection. The
applicant also understands that the fees and the monthly bill will be 1.25 times the rate for customers inside
the City of Fort Worth until such time as the property may be annexed.
This property is located adjacent to COUNCIL DISTRICT 2.
FISCAL INFORMATION/CERTIFICATION:
The Finance Director certifies that the Water Department will be responsible for collection of funds due to
the City as a result of this agreement.
