RENEWAL NUMBER TWO TO CITY SECRETARY CONTRACT NO. 50634

This Renewal is entered into by and between the City of Fort Worth (hereafter
"City"), a home rule municipal corporation situated in portions of Tarrant, Denton and
Wise Counties, Texas, with its principal place of business at 200 Texas Street, Fort
Worth, Texas, and Tonic Walker Brown d/b/a Camelot Roofing, (hereafter "Contractor").
City and Contractor may be referred to herein individually as a "Party" and collectives as
the "Parties."
WHEREAS, the City Council authorized the City Manager or his Designee to
enter into a Contract with Contractor for an initial one-year term with two (2) one-year
renewal options to support the City's Rehab Programs (M&C P-12170); and
WHEREAS, the Parties previously entered into City of Fort Worth City
Secretary Contract No. 50634 (the "Contract"), which was executed on or about April 9,
2018, for construction services for the City's Rehab Programs; and
WHEREAS, Article 5 of the Contract provides that the Contract shall be
renewable at the City's option, and upon Contractor's written acceptance, for up to two
(2) additional one-year terms; and
WHEREAS, on April 8, 2019, the Parties agreed to renew the Contract for a first
renewal term from April 9, 2019 through April 8, 2020 (Fort Worth City Secretary
Contract No. 50634-R1); and
WHEREAS, the Parties now desire to renew the Contract for its second one-year
renewal term from April 9, 2020 through April 8, 2021 pursuant to the terms of the
original Contract; and
NOW, THEREFORE, City and Contractor, acting herein by the through their
duly authorized representatives, agree to the following:
I.
The Contract is hereby renewed for an additional one year period beginning April
9, 2020 and expiring April 8, 2021, unless earlier terminated in accordance with the
Contract.
