Furnish the gate valves in accordance with Section 40 05 61 and install in a configuration that is similar to what is shown for the plug valve installation on sheets M-012 and M-013 of the drawings. Coordinate and furnish the electric motor actuators in accordance with Section 40 05 57.23.The gate valves and actuators shall be for modulating service and shall be assembled,calibrated,and tested by the valve supplier per Section 40 05 57.33. Plummer views the $10,829.79 contract modification as reasonable and recommends proceeding with the cost component of PCM-002. Bar advised that replacing the plug valves with gate valves modified with custom made electric motor acuators will delay the delivery of the gate valves until November 2020.Accordingly, Bar has requested a 89 day schedule extension to provide sufficient time for equipment installation. Plummer views the 89 day schedule extension as reasonable for the stated reason and recommends authorizing the extension as long as the City is able to have sedimentation basins available and can operate them manually for sludge blow downs. It is understood and agreed that the acceptance of this Change Order by the contractor constitutes an accord and satisfaction and represents payment in full(both time and money)for all costs arising out of,or incidental to,the above Change Order.
